Project


The project named Invest in Małopolska, delivered under The Małopolska Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013, Measure 8.1 International promotion of the Małopolska Region, is a response to the need for measures stimulating Małopolska’s economic promotion at the international level. 


The project is implemented by Małopolska Regional Development Agency /  Małopolska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A., which is the project leader, the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolska Region and Krakow Technology Park Ltd / Krakowski Park Technologiczny Sp. z o.o. – Special Economic Zone


The supreme goal of the project is to create a strong international social and economic position of Małopolska, in particular in terms of the region’s potential for investment.


The core target group of the project includes: individuals, decision-making and advisory bodies involved in the investment market, opinion-forming environments (industry-specific media, industry associations and organisations, representatives of foreign investment support institutions) operating on the national, European and worldwide scale.


The following activities are undertaken under the project:

  • direct contacts with investors from such countries as Japan, South Korea, USA, Israel, Western Europe,
  • preparation and distribution of information materials about Małopolska’s investment potential (real property, human resources, support of investments),
  • cooperation with investors within Małopolska,
  • modern business communication methods (the Internet, sectoral publications, tailor-made materials)


Project duration: 01.09.2008 – 31.10.2010
