Krakow on the top
Krakow has jumped to 4th in the 2009 Global Services-Tholons annual ranking of Top 50 Emerging Global Outsourcing Cities (up from 5th in 2008)
strengthening its position as the number 1 emerging city in Europe.
Kraków also placed among the Top Established Cities for some functions:
• In F&A Kraków placed 4th behind Mumbai, Bangalore and Manilla
• In Business Analytics Kraków placed 5th behind Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai
• In Multilingual Contact Centres Kraków placed 3rd behind Mexico City and Cairo
Kraków also placed 3rd among the Top Emerging Cities for HR and for the first time entered the list of Top Emerging Cities for R&D, ranking 5th.
In the Top 50 Emerging Cities ranking Prague is the next best placed city in CEE, maintaining its overall position in 14th place; Warsaw is the only other Polish city in the Top 50 and is ranked 28th.
Poland is placed 5th in the category Next Offshoring Nations
